We partnered with VSP® Individual Vision Plans to offer affordable vision insurance to help you focus on your eye health. Plans start as low as $13 a month. Find out more about how you can be insured instantly with VSP.

Vision insurance is designed to provide coverage for routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease.

Our office accepts VSP, Eyemed, MES, UFCW, UMR, VBA, Spectera, Davis Vision, OptiCare, Medicare, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Primecare Group, BlueCross BlueShield and more.

We accept most vision plans including: VSP, Eyemed, Davis Vision, MES, Spectera, First Look, and Superior Vision.  As well as Tricare for dependents of active military.

MY PLAN LISTS YOUR OFFICE BUT I DO NOT SEE IT ON THE LIST?

Large insurance companies such as Blue Shield, United Health Care, Aetna, and others subcontract through companies such as Davis (Blue Shield) or Eyemed (Aetna).  There are plans that are strictly medical plans, which we unfortunately do not bill directly such as Blue Shield medical only plans. Patients in that situation are able to submit any receipt and paperwork for reimbursement to their respective medical insurance if needed.

Our office accepts cash, check, and major debit and credit cards including MasterCard and Visa, as well as Care Credit.

Most insurance plans will cover a routine comprehensive vision exam yearly with just a copay.

Contact lens examinations are typically only discounted through insurances and are not usually covered.

Plans for care and materials vary based on the insurance type and what is allotted towards benefits.  General benefit information is typically listed under the policy on the individual’s insurance website.
